Organisations that depend on a stable indoor climate, such as museums and clean rooms, need a solution that combines real-time monitoring, in-depth analysis and smart control mechanisms. Traditional management of climate systems often falls short in efficiency and energy savings. DYSECO was looking for a way to make climate systems more intelligent while reducing the ecological footprint.

The solution: DYMETRIX Dashboard - Monitoring & Analysis 🤖

Four Digits developed the DYMETRIX Dashboard for DYSECO: a powerful monitoring and analytics suite that gives organisations insight into their climate systems. This dashboard combines real-time data, advanced analytics and user-friendly visualisations to give managers complete control over their climate management. DYMETRIX offers an innovative climate system monitoring and analysis solution. The dashboard continuously collects and analyses data from sensors, which helps identify trends and anomalies. This allows organisations to:

View real-time climate data – Continuous insight into temperature, humidity and CO₂ levels.
Apply smart controls – The system provides recommendations and automatically adjusts installations where necessary.
Save energy – By detecting inefficiencies and making adjustments, organisations can save significantly on energy consumption.

Technology used 🦾

Amodern technology stack was used to develop the DYMETRIX Dashboard. The backend and Middleware was built with Python and Django, providing a robust and scalable architecture. This incorporates various techniques such as communication with the HVAC and Celery for tasks. The frontend is developed with JavaScript, providing a dynamic and interactive user experience. In addition, Plotly is integrated for advanced data visualisations. This enables users to analyse complex climate data in an intuitive and clear way. The combination of these technologies allows large amounts of sensor data to be processed quickly and presented in an understandable way.

Each iteration starts with a comprehensive list of requirements and ideas in an active backlog. Together with DYSECO, we dive into this list and see which items are prioritised. We listen to the various stakeholders, look at the possibilities within the budget, and thus determine which features are needed to realise the further development. DYSECO is at the heart of this process. They are closely involved in the team, with short lines of communication and a cooperation that is always smooth and pleasant.

DYSECO was founded in 2019 by passionate climate experts who combined their scientific research results from Eindhoven University of Technology with knowledge from the heritage field. DYSECO combines climate control, monitoring and analysis knowledge and makes it available to the cultural sector with smart climate solutions.
