Django in practice: AQUON's water research portal
Water research, samples, water quality, water bottom surveys, hydrobiology, innovation all come together in the Order Management System we developed for AQUON. Where previously this was done with an Excel application (with a lot of manual work) this is now done on a large scale optimised in the online portal. We detect duplicate orders and make optimisations in the orders going to the LIMS of this lab company. This resulted in huge time savings (of months), substantial cost savings and increased efficiency and security.
