Quality you notice in the way we work together

Quality you can rely on, embedded in our way of working. You’ll be partnering with an organisation that has clearly defined agreements, responsibilities, and quality controls. This provides certainty for complex digital projects and ensures a predictable partnership without surprises.

Since 2009

Four Digits has been ISO 9001 certified since 2009. This international standard revolves around quality management: clear processes, well-defined responsibilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Not just on paper, but as an integral part of how we collaborate, build, and improve every day. For you, this means greater control over the process. You’ll know how decisions are made, how quality is monitored, and how we ensure that a solution is not only delivered but also continues to function properly.

What does ISO 9001 mean for you?

You’ll work with a team that takes quality seriously, not just in code, but also in communication, planning, handovers, and management. That brings peace of mind, especially when software plays a key role in your organisation and you want to be able to rely on a partner who works in a structured way, takes responsibility, and continuously improves. For us, ISO 9001 isn’t just a box to check. It’s a way to stay focused and make every collaboration better.

Greater predictability in complex projects

Complex digital projects always present challenges. You have to deal with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, dependencies between systems, and changing requirements. Without a structured approach, ambiguities pile up and decisions are made too late. We work with clear procedures that keep progress, quality, and risks under control. This starts with a thorough discovery phase and continues through every sprint, delivery, and evaluation. This way, you maintain a clear overview, minimise surprises, and can make the right decisions at the right time.

Quality throughout the project

Quality isn’t achieved by testing only at the very end of the process. We monitor quality throughout the entire process. This begins with refining the strategy and requirements and continues through the design and development phases. During implementation, we test continuously and document our choices. Even after delivery, we ensure a careful handover, stable management, and targeted further development. Quality assurance is an integral part of the process, not a separate step added afterward.

Clear agreements and responsibilities

A successful project stands or falls on clear collaboration. Throughout the project, you know exactly who is responsible for what and how decisions are made. We clearly define how we handle changes, when we conduct checks, and how we discuss risks. Even in the event of deviations or escalations, it’s clear in advance how we’ll address them. This reduces ambiguity, speeds up decision-making, and ensures the project runs smoothly.

Continuous improvement is at the heart of how we work

Our ISO 9001 certification has formed the foundation of our quality management since 2009. Since then, we’ve continued to review, refine, and improve our processes. You’ll notice this in our projects. In the way we start with a clear understanding. In how we collaborate through well-defined steps. In how we document, test, evaluate, and continue to refine our work.

Continuous improvement is at the heart of how we work

Our ISO 9001 certification has been the foundation of our quality management since 2009. Since then, we have continued to assess, refine, and improve our processes. You’ll see that reflected in our projects. In the way we start with insight. In how we collaborate in clear, well-defined steps. In how we document, test, evaluate, and continue to refine our work.

We demonstrably learn from feedback

We don’t just collect feedback, we examine it thoroughly. We evaluate projects, analyse feedback, and investigate deviations to identify the root cause. We then document improvement actions and verify whether they have the desired effect. This ensures that future projects and collaborations directly benefit from the insights we’ve gained.

Continuity that doesn’t depend on a single person

Our services should not depend entirely on the knowledge of a single employee. Clear processes, documentation, and responsibilities ensure that we can smoothly take over tasks. As a result, projects continue smoothly, we retain knowledge within the team, and we offer consistent service, even during staff changes.

Identifying and managing risks earlier

We strive to identify relevant risks related to planning, scope, technology and external dependencies early on and to discuss them openly. Not every risk can be prevented, but a professional approach helps limit surprises and unmanageable situations. This way, we maintain control over the outcome together.

Recognised standard, independently verified

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that sets requirements for how an organisation manages quality and systematically improves processes. Certification does not mean that errors or deviations never occur. It does mean, however, that we have a professional system in place to identify, address, evaluate, and—where possible—prevent them in the future. We do not assess our own compliance with ISO 9001. An independent certifying body periodically assesses whether our quality management system meets the standard’s requirements and whether we are operating in accordance with our established procedures. This means you do not have to rely solely on our own promise of quality.

What does this mean for you?

  • Greater control: You always have insight into the process, the decisions made, and the project’s progress.

  • Greater predictability: A structured approach minimizes surprises regarding planning, scope, and quality.

  • Consistent quality: Our approach ensures reliable results, regardless of the project or the team.

  • Professional follow-up: Deviations and changes are addressed clearly and promptly, not passed on to others.

  • Structural improvement: Your feedback demonstrably leads to even better service in future projects.
