Case studies Zumtobel Group

Zumtobel Group

The Challenge

As a multinational with brands such as Zumtobel, Thorn, and Tridonic, operating in dozens of countries, consistency is not a given. Architects, installers, and buyers expect accurate technical specifications, up-to-date downloads, and a brand experience that’s consistent in every country and in every language. Merging three brands, each with its own identity, product catalogues and target audiences, into a single, manageable platform: that’s the challenge.

The solution

Three brand websites, managed from a single Wagtail CMS. Product information and downloads are made available in real time via API connections to the back-end systems. Multilingual content, country-specific variations, and complex product structures are all manageable by the editorial team. We technically implemented the visual concept developed by the New York-based agency Anton & Irene, featuring overlay navigation and a visually rich user experience.

Strong brands require a platform that lives up to their quality

For a multinational like the Zumtobel Group, the website serves as the face of three global brands at once. Every page, every product, every download: it has to be just right. In every country. In every language. For every audience.

Always the right information, at any time

Architects and installers make decisions based on what they find on your website. Outdated product specifications, missing downloads, or inconsistent brand messaging directly erode trust and cost you business.

Product information and technical documentation are made available in real time from the backend systems via API integrations. Three brands, dozens of markets, multiple languages: the editorial team manages everything from a single interface. What’s on the website is accurate. Always.

A brand experience that reflects the quality of the products

The Zumtobel Group illuminates world-famous stadiums, churches, and architectural icons. That ambition calls for a digital presence that lives up to that standard.

The design concept by Anton & Irene, one of the world’s most renowned digital design agencies, sets the standard: innovative overlay navigation, extensive use of imagery, and a user experience that reflects the quality of the products. We built the technical foundation: robust, scalable, and built to last. The codebase has 90% test coverage, and the team works across three time zones as a single international unit.
