Mid-Level Project Manager

32–40 hours Arnhem

At Four Digits, you’ll ensure that complex software projects move from concept to completion. You’ll serve as the link between our clients and the team, keeping track of the schedule, budget, quality, and progress.

You’ll work on mission-critical applications, digital platforms, and portals for organizations such as Efteling, Humanitas, Aquon, and Industrial Auctions. No two projects are alike. What always remains the same is your goal: ensuring that clients and colleagues know where they stand and work together to create software that truly makes a difference.

What will you be doing?

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee multiple digital projects simultaneously. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients and work closely with software engineers, architects, strategists, and other specialists. You’ll bring structure to the process, set priorities, and ensure that everyone is working toward the same goal.

You’ll translate client requests into a clear approach and concrete tasks for the team. In doing so, you’ll monitor the schedule, budget, scope, and quality. You identify risks early on, discuss expectations openly, and make adjustments when necessary. You also lead sprints, progress meetings, project deliveries, and evaluations.

You’re more than just someone who keeps track of the schedule. You immerse yourself in the client’s organization and objectives, ask probing questions, and contribute ideas on opportunities for improvement and further development. You don’t have to build software yourself, but you do find it interesting to understand what we’re creating and why certain technical choices are made.

You have at least two years of experience as a project manager in software, digital, or IT;
Experience on the agency side is a definite plus;
You can oversee multiple projects simultaneously and maintain control over scheduling, budget, scope, and quality;
You communicate clearly and honestly with clients and colleagues;
You ask the right questions, clarify expectations, and aren’t afraid to make adjustments;
You understand how digital products and software projects are developed;
You’re organized and proactive, and you stay calm when priorities change;
You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking;
You think not only in terms of deadlines, but also in terms of long-term client relationships and opportunities for further development.
